A Little Piece of Heaven

Manuel Antonio National Park- the most visited park in Costa Rica
So we walked around the park for a bit and it was HOT and HUMID. I was dripping with sweat and I had only just been slowly walking. We were pretty grumpy because despite the promise of monkeys we only saw one sloth (which we saw last week) and lots of plants. Our guide, realizing our growing discomfort, hurried along the tour and around the corner the rainforest opened up to a BEAUTIFUL ocean. The waves were pretty strong, but we didn't go out very far. The water was so refreshing and blue it was amazing!

There were a bunch of lava rocks to climb on...and slip on haha

Three Musketeers- Anna, Courtney and Me

Despite our best efforts (try 10 times) this is one of my favorites haha

We finally saw MONKEYS! <3 for you mom

Chillin'

Had to take a boat across alligator infested waters...
After our adventures in the ocean as we were leaving there was a guy selling coconuts (for 2 bucks! talk about supply and demand and RIP OFF) and Blake and Mr. Olah both got one and a straw to sip out of. We all tried it and it was gross. The juice was warm and sour tasting...I felt bad they had wasted their money. Then we drove about an hour to Punta Leona, which is like a resort type thing where we are staying tonight. They also had a beach which we visited this afternoon :) We laid out and then played ultimate frisbee!!! It was actually pretty fun. Last but not least we had a delectable buffet for dinner with fresh rolls! I was ecstatic because I have not had fresh bread since I've been in Costa Rica. Very very very yummy.

Before I go, I just want to say Happy Graduation to my little cousin Mikey. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there for you today but know I am thinking of you and miss all of you my amazing family! I'm so proud of you Mike and know God has such big plans for your life. I feel blessed to just even be a part of it. I love you very much!
