There's No Place Like Home

I'm sorry this post is slightly overdue, but last night at approximately 10:15pm our flight landed in RDU airport!
John-Mark, Leslie and I were the first from our crew off the plane and we everything but ran to the baggage claim where our families were waiting anxiously. Of course my mother was out in front with a giant black and orange "Welcome Home" sign- haha. I loved everything about our Costa Rica trip (ok almost everything) but I am so grateful to be home.

My family surprised me when I got back by having painted my room and chucked a bunch of my old stuff so now I have sort of a "grown up" looking room. So now Grandpa you do not have to be embarrassed to sleep in my pink and purple butterfly room ;).

Tomorrow night, I'm cooking my family a legitimate Costa Rican meal! I'm so excited to be able to infuse a piece of their culture into my own.

Thank you again everyone who has followed this blog through all my adventures and for all the thoughts and prayers. God bless you all!
